Gov’t prepares for 37th NASC’s session

VGP – PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc has recently assigned his inferiors to prepare for the 37th session of the National Assembly Standing Committee (NASC) scheduled for September 9 through to 20.

Specifically, the PM assigned the Minister of Planning and Investment to present and collect comments on the draft laws on PPP investment, investment (amended), and enterprises (amended).

The Minister of Finance is responsible for presenting and collecting comments on a National Assembly’s draft resolution on settlement of debts for tax payers who are unable to pay State budget; a draft decree on customs procedures, inspection, supervision on goods in transits via the ASEAN Customs Transit System (ACTS); a Government’ report on allocation options of  the increased central budget revenues in 2018; a report on the draft law on securities (amended), and issuance of a National Assembly’s resolution on capital management and spending from SOEs withdrawal and privatization. 

The Minister of Justice was asked to present and collect comments the a draft law on judicial expertise, a preliminary report of the Government on five-year implementation of the Constitution, a Government’s report on judgment execution in 2019. 

The Minister of Public Security was assigned to present and collect feedback for a Government’s report on prevention and fighting of legal violation in 2019. 

The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development will present and receive comments on draft laws on natural disaster prevention and fighting and dikes. 

The Minister of Home Affairs was asked to deliver and collect comments on a draft law on the youth. 

The PM asked the Minister of Construction to present and collect comments on a draft law on construction (amended). 

The Minister of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs was assigned to collect feedbacks on a Government’s report on implementation of policies and laws on national target program on sustainable poverty reduction in the ethnic minority and mountainous regions in the 2021-2018 period. 

The Minister of Health was requested to collect feedback of the Government on the implementation of Resolution 68/2013/QH13 on healthcare insurance towards universal healthcare insurance in 2018-2019 period, a Government’s report on management and spending of the healthcare fund in 2018, a Government’s report on operation, management, and spending of the tobacco prevention fund in 2018 and 2019 period. 

The Government Inspector General is responsible for presenting and collecting comments on a Government’s report on corruption prevention and fighting, a Government’s report on citizen reception, and settlement of accusations and complaints in 2019./.
