Newly-established enterprises set new record in September

In the first nine months, 102,300 enterprises were founded with a total registered capital of VND 1,290 trillion, up 5.9% in number and 34% in value in comparison with 2018. Average registered capital of a newly-established enterprise touched VND 12.6 trillion, representing a year-on-year growth of 26.6%. 

Meanwhile, existing enterprises got additional capital of VND 1,730 trillion. Hence, in the reviewed period, the economy absorbed VND 3,021 trillion. 

In addition, 27,600 businesses resumed operation, up 20.5% against the same period last year. Total number of newly-established and resumed businesses touched 129,800. Newly-established enterprises generated 929,800 jobs, representing a year-on-year growth of 13.4%. 

In the first nine months, 21,200 enterprises were temporally suspended, down 7.9% against the same period last year. Up to 12,100 enterprises completed dissolution procedures, up 4.7% against the same period last year. 

In September, 11,787 enterprises were founded with a total registered  capital of VND 140.2 trillion, up 5.5% in number and down 7.3% in value in comparison with the previous month./.
