Working group on business reform to be set up

VGP – The Prime Minister will set up a special working group to promote reform, perfect the business environment with a view to cutting 20% of governmental and ministerial documents and at least 20% of business costs on law enforcement.

Minister-Chairman of the Office of the Government Mai Tien Dung made the announcement on January 2 at a meeting during which the participants discussed development of a plan to streamline business procedures in the 2020-2025 period.

According to the Minister, Viet Nam’s competitiveness index jumped ten notches in 2019, however, business environment index decreased a step despite higher scores.

Mr. Ngo Hai Phan, Director General of the Administrative Procedures Control Agency said that it is right time to accelerate the reform especially instruments./.
