Top 500 largest enterprises in VN announced

The event aims to honour the largest enterprises in Viet Nam, which achieved remarkable successes in production and business activities.

The list includes Samsung Electronics Thai Nguyen, Electricity of Viet Nam (EVN), PetroViet Nam, Vingroup, the Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical JSC, the Viet Nam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Agribank), the Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam (BIDV), and the Viet Nam National Coal-Mineral Industries Holding Corporation Limited (Vinacomin).

Director General of Vietnam Report Vu Dang Vinh said this is the 13th consecutive year the VNR500 Ranking has been published to help build and promote the prestige and trade brands of local businesses.

In addition, this helps enterprises improve their competitive capacity and sustainable development in the context of Viet Nam’s deep integration into the world.  

The best of the Top 500 were also honored in the Top 50 Viet Nam the Best 2019.

In addition, Viet Nam Report also announced the Top 10 most prestigious enterprises in pharmaceutical-tourism-transport and logistics in 2019 at the ceremony.

On the sidelines of the ceremony, Vietnam Report also released the Viet Nam Economy White Book 2020, with the theme “The Largest Vietnamese Enterprises and Challenges for Growth 2020”. 

The white book collects comments from leading economists and enterprises in Viet Nam on past performance and the potential and challenges for growth in the business community, and then gives recommendations on supporting the development of Vietnamese enterprises in 2020./.
