Vice State President to visit India next week

The visit takes place amid ongoing positive advancement of the Viet Nam-India comprehensive strategic partnership thanks to regular exchange of high-level visits and maintenance of bilateral cooperation mechanisms.

The two-way trade rose over 15% on average over the past decade while both sides have sustained close cooperation in other fields like security-defense, education and training, and people-to-people exchanges.

The upcoming visit demonstrates Viet Nam’s consistent policy of attaching importance to the comprehensive strategic partnership with India. It is also expected to help consolidate relationship between the two countries’ leaders.

Both sides will discuss measures to foster cooperation in key sectors and exchange views on regional and international issues of common concern./.
