Ho Chi Minh City becomes the first locality nationwide recording the export value of US$10 billion (as of the end of the first quarter of 2020), according to the General Department of Customs. |
The total export value of these localities reached US$49.35 billion, making up 78% of the nation’s total export value in the first quarter of 2020.
Ho Chi Minh City took the lead with US$10.5 billion, a year-on-year increase of 14.6%, contributing 16.6% of the nation’s total export value.
Hai Phong City witnessed an increase of US$1.05 billion in export value against the same period last year, achieving nearly US$4 billion, ranking second.
