Total recovered COVID-19 patients rise to 241, VN goes 22 days without community infection

VGP – Eight more patients have been cleared of COVID-19, raising the total number of such cases to 241, the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control has reported.

Seven out of eight recovered patients exit National Hospital for Tropical Diseases in Ha Noi’s Dong Anh District on May 8.

The latest recovered patients include seven patients numbered 130, 162, 209, 212, 243, 260 who have been treated at the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases in Ha Noi’s Dong Anh District.

Patient 130 is a 30-year old man who was hospitalized on March 23 and exited hospital on March 30.

He is one of the relapsed cases in Viet Nam.

Patient 162 is a 63-year old woman in Ha Noi’s Long Bien District.

The woman, hospitalized on March 25, is one the sickest COVID-19 patients in the nation.

Patient 209 is a 55-year old woman from Ha Noi’s Long Bien, who was hospitalized on March 30.

Patient 212 is a 35-year old woman from Hung Ha District of the northern province of Thai Binh.

She was hospitalized on March 31.

Patient 226 is a 22-year old man from Yen Thanh District of the central province of Nghe An.

He was hospitalized on April 1.

Patient 243 is a 47-year old man from Ha Noi’s Me Linh District. He was hospitalized on April 6.

Patient 260 is a 35-year old woman from Ha Noi’s Me Linh District. She was hospitalized on April 12.

The last patient, numbered 36, is a 65-year old woman who has been treated at the Traditional Medicine and Rehabilitation Hospital in the central province of Binh Thuan.

She had recovered and exited the hospital on April 10 but she was tested positive again on April 23.

As of Friday morning, Viet Nam went 22 days without new community infection case, according the steering committee.
