For more imported COVID-19 cases confirmed, patient tally rises to 318

VGP – Four more imported COVID-19 cases were confirmed, raising the patient tally to 318, the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control reported minutes ago.

Patient 315 is a 39-year-old man illegally returning from Cambodia on May 2.

He went to his aunt’s house in Tan Thanh Commune, Tan Chau District of Tay Ninh Province.

His aunt asked him to immediately present himself to the local authorities and he was taken to centralized quarantine camp on May 3.

He was first tested negative for the virus on May 5 but Ho Chi Minh Pasteur Institute confirmed that he was positive on late Friday.

He is being treated at Tay Ninh General Hospital while 17 people who have been in close contact with hime are being quarantined at Tan Chau District and the General Hospital.

Patient 316 is a 19-year-old man from the central city of Da Nang. He landed in Can Tho International Airport on May 14 from the Philippines on flight QH9352 and was immediately sent to a centralized quarantine camp in the Mekong Delta province of Dong Thap.

He is being treated at Sa Dec General Hospital in the locality.

Patient 317 is a 29-year-old man from Dien Khanh District of the central province of Khanh Hoa.

He landed in Van Don International Airport in the northern province of Quang Ninh on May 13 from Russia on flight VN0062 and was immediately taken to a centralized quarantine camp in Thai Binh Province.

He is being treated at Thai Binh General Hospital.

Patient 318 is a 41-year-old woman from Thanh Hoa city of Thanh Hoa Province.

He was a passenger on flight VN0062 landing in the Van Don Airport on May 13.

He is being treated at the Thai Binh General Hospital./.
