VN donates medical supplies to 8 countries

VGP – Deputy Foreign Minister Nguyen Quoc Dung, authorized by Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, on Monday handed over medical supplies to Ambassadors of Australia, Brunei, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore and Thailand to help these countries fight COVID-19.

The medical supplies include anti-bacteria masks, protective gears, and testing kits made in Viet Nam, worth US$420,000.

Addressing the handover ceremony, Dung said Viet Nam wishes to share part of its resources as the COVID-19 pandemic requires solidarity and mutual support.

He expressed his belief that the aforesaid countries would soon overcome this difficult time thanks to the great efforts of their Government and public cooperation./.
