VN repatriates 340 citizens from India

VGP – A flight carrying 340 Vietnamese citizens from India landed at Can Tho International Airport on Wednesday, according to the Vietnamese Foreign Ministry.

The passengers include elderly people, pregnant women, students and guest workers whose visa had expired.

All of them were medically checked and quarantined as currently regulated, the ministry said.

Viet Nam has repatriated nearly 1,720 citizens from Canada, the US, Malaysia, Russia, the Philippines, and Thailand from May 9./.
