National Steering Committee confirms one more COVID-19 case

VGP – A Vietnamese man with travel record to several countries was confirmed the latest COVID-19 case in Viet Nam, bringing the patient tally to 353, the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control said minutes ago.

The 31-year old man is a resident of Phung Xa Commune, Thach That District, Ha Noi.

He was a passenger onboard the flight VN9674 that landed in Tan Son Nhat International Airport on June 25 from Cameroon after transiting in Nigeria, Ethiopia, and Malaysia.

Upon his arrival, he was quarantined at a hospital in District 7 in Ho Chi Minh City and is being treated at the Cu Chi field hospital in the city.

The same day, the National Steering Committee reported that one more COVID-19 patient has been cleared of the COVID-19, raising the recovered cases to 330./.
