Vietnamese Ambassador presents credentials to Tanzanian President

The Ambassador expressed his wish to contribute to promoting the traditional friendship and cooperation between the two countries.

The Vietnamese diplomat also suggested the two countries continue supporting each other and closely cooperate at multilateral forums in addition to facilitating the operation of Halotel company, a joint venture of Vietnamese Viettel Group in Tanzania.

The Tanzanian President appreciated the bilateral relations, which were established in the 1960s, affirming that Tanzania will always support Viet Nam.

Through Ambassador Nguyen Nam Tien, the Tanzanian President invited the Vietnamese President to visit Tanzania while calling on Vietnamese enterprises to invest in the country, particularly in the building of processing plants for cashew nuts and producing fabric.

He said that the Tanzanian Government will create favorable conditions for Vietnamese investors to launch operation in the country.

Viet Nam attaches importance to the relationship with Tanzania, said the Ambassador, adding that he will do his utmost to deepen the cooperative relations in the future.

He thanked the Tanzanian Government and the President for facilitating Overseas Vietnamese in the nation and Vietnamese investors over the recent years, expressing his desires to enhance cooperative relations with Viet Nam in all fields and investment activities of Viettel in Tanzania.
