Three new Covid-19 cases confirmed, total increases to 750

Patient 748 is a 54-year old woman from Sam Son city, Thanh Hoa Province. She came in contact with a person who had a restaurant near the Da Nang Hospital. The person was confirmed positive for Covid-19 on August 2.

The woman is being treated at the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases in Ha Noi’s Dong Anh District.

Patient 749 is a 27-year old woman from Vinh Hoa Commune, Vinh Linh District, Quang Tri Province.

She took care of her family member at the Neurosurgery Department of the Da Nang Hospital from July 17.

On July 21, she developed symptoms of mild fever, sore throat, and fatique.

Patient 750 is a 28-year old man from Dong Le Commune, Dong Ha District, Quang Tri Province.

On July 18, man was in contact with his friend who was later confirmed positive for Covid-19.

On July 25, he developed symptoms of mild fever, sore throat, and fatique.

Both patients 749 and 750 are being treated at the Tuberculosis and Lung Disease Hospital Quang Tri.

Of the patient tally, 298 cases have been confirmed since July 25, said the National Steering Committee.

At present, 178,451 people are being medically monitored and quarantined, including 5,870 at hospitals, 24,106 at centralized quarantine camps, and 148,475 at places of residence./.
