More than 810 citizens fly home from Asia, Europe

VGP – More than 810 Vietnamese citizens flew home from Singapore, Taiwan, and several European countries on August 7, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Specifically, a Viet Nam Airlines flight carrying 300 citizens from Singapore landed at the Can Tho International Airport.

A VietJet Air flight transporting 230 Vietnamese citizens from Chinese Taipei landed at the Cam Ranh International Airport in the central province of Khanh Hoa.

A Viet Nam Airlines flight carrying nearly 280 citizens from the UK, Germany, Switzerland, Denmark and the Czech Republic landed at the Van Don International Airport in the northern province of Quang Ninh.

All the above passengers were medically checked and quarantined in accordance with the current regulations on Covid-19 response.

Viet Nam has organized 84 rescue flights, bringing home 20,780 citizens stranded abroad due to Covid-19./.
