Recovered Covid-19 patient tested positive again, total rises to 930

VGP – Viet Nam confirmed one new Covid-19 case this morning, bringing the country’s patient tally to 930.

The latest case is a 41-year old woman from Minh Thuan Commune, Vu Ban District, Nam Dinh Province.

She had contracted Covid-19 in Russia and recovered on June 24.

On August 10, she flew from Russia to Van Don International Airport in Quang Ninh Province on flight VN5062 and was sent to a centralized quarantine camp in Nam Dinh Province.

She is being treated at the Nam Dinh General Hospital.

Of the country’s patient tally, 437 have been cleared of Covid-19 and 22 others died of the virus and a number of underlying diseases like hypertension, end-stage renal failure and heart failure.

At present, the national is putting 115,585  people under medical surveillance, including 4,182 at hospitals, 25,952 at centralized quarantine camps, and 85,724 at places of residence./.
