Oldest patient cleared of COVID-19

VGP – Eight patients, including a 100-year-old woman, Viet Nam's eldest coronavirus case, were declared free of COVID-19 and exited hospitals on Saturday.

Viet Nam's oldest recovered patient exits hospital on September 12, 2020.

They latest recoveries included three (patients numbered 608, 893, and 1,027) in Da Nang City and five (patients 565, 592, 723, 836, and 898) in the neighboring province of Quang Nam.

Especially, patient 592 is a 100-year old woman, the oldest patient in Viet Nam. She tested positive for the virus on July 30, about a week after she had been admitted to Binh An Hospital.

The nation has gone 10 days without community transmitted case of COVID-19, keeping the patient tally unchanged at 1,060, including 910 recovered cases and 35 fatalities./.
