Nine more Indian nationals test positive for COVID-19

VGP – Nine more Indian nationals were confirmed positive for COVID-19 this afternoon, raising the patient tally to 1,122, according to the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control.

The latest patients are numbered from 1,114 to 1,122 and aged between 27 to 41.

They landed in HCMC Tan Son Nhat International Airport on October 6 on flight 6E9471 from India and were quarantined in the Mekong delta province of Dong Thap upon arrival.

Earlier, six passengers onboard the flight 6E9471 had tested positive for the virus.

The same day, the National Steering Committee reported that patients 745, 747, and 754 have recovered, bringing the total recoveries to 1,029./.
