Three Angola returnees test positive for COVID-19

VGP – Viet Nam’s COVID-19 patient tally rose to 1,148 after three citizens repatriated from Angola were confirmed positive for virus this afternoon.

The latest patients, numbered from 1,146 to 1,148, landed at Van Don international airport on October 20 and were sent to a concentrated quarantine camp in Bac Ninh Province.

Patient 1,146 is a 46-year-old man from Ky Anh town, Ha Tinh Province. He is being treated at Bac Ninh General Hospital.

Patient 1,147 is a 35-year-old woman from Luc Nam District, Bac Giang Province while patient 1,148 is a 36-year-old man from Ho Chi Minh City.

Both of them are being treated at the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases in Ha Noi’s Dong Anh District.

Viet Nam has gone 50 days without a single community infection case of COVID-19./.
