PM appoints new Deputy Ministers of National Defense

VGP – Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has decided to appoint Senior Lieutenant General Le Huy Vinh and Lieutenant General Vo Minh Luong as two new Deputy Ministers of National Defense.

Vinh, aged 59, was promoted to the new role from his current position as Deputy Chief of General Staff of the Viet Nam People’s Army.

Meanwhile, Luong, aged 57, was promoted to the new role from his current position as Commander of the Military Region 7.

Both Vinh and Luong are members of the Party Central Committee and members of the Central Military Commission./.
