COVID-19 test costs announced for those wishing to go abroad

VGP – The Ministry of Health (MoH) has recently issued Official Dispatch No. 5834/BYT-KH-TC on provisional guidelines for payment of COVID-19 test costs for persons wishing to go abroad.

Accordingly, the max cost for Real-time PCR test: VND 734,000/specimen (US$ 31/specimen).

The max cost for quick test: VND 238,000/specimen (US$ 10/specimen).

Based on the aforesaid price ceilings, relevant units and local authorities themselves shall decide specific test prices.

This Official Dispatch was issued to facilitate foreigners living and working in Viet Nam and Vietnamese people in getting COVID-19 test certificates before going abroad amid COVID-19 pandemic time.

As of 6:05 pm on October 29, Viet Nam confirmed 1,177 COVID-19 patients, including 1,062 recovered cases and 35 fatalities./.
