Lawmakers pass resolution on State budget plan for 2021

VGP – Next year’s total budget revenues are expected to reach more than VND 1,343 trillion (US$58 billion), according to a resolution on budget plan adopted by the National Assembly Thursday.

The budget spending is estimated at VND 1,687 trillion (more than US$ 72.8 billion), which means budget overspending is about VND 343 trillion, or equivalent to 4% of the country’s GDP.

Noticeably, minimum wage for civil servants and public employees and poverty threshold shall remain unchanged in 2021./.
