Nepalese national among three latest cases of Covid-19

VGP - Viet Nam confirmed three new cases of Covid-19, including a Nepalese national, taking the patient tally to 1,361.

Patient 1359 is a 27-year-old man in Binh Chanh District, Ho Chi Minh City.

He was brought home from Germany on November 19 and quarantined in Thai Binh Province.

The patient is being treated at the Thai Binh General Hospital.

Patient 1360 is a 40-year-old Nepalese man who flew from the U.S. to Ho Chi Minh City on December 1 on flight EK392.

He is being treated at the Cu Chi field hospital.

Patient 1361 is a 48-year-old man in Phan Thiet city, Binh Thuan Province.

He landed at Da Nang airport on December 1 on flight VN431 from the U.S. after transiting in the Republic of Korea.

The patient is being treated at the Da Nang Hospital for Lung Diseases.

The same day, eight more patients were declared free of Covid-19, raising the total recoveries to 1,209.

The country’s Covid-19 death toll stood at 35./.
