Zhejiang Export Fair in VN held

With the theme "Overcoming storms to create trade opportunities for businesses". This year’s event brings together many leading Zhejiang brands from the international market, across 100 booths, including Alibaba, the global e-commerce ground founded in 1999 by billionaire Jack Ma.

This year's event will for the first time combine both at-site booths and remote booths so foreign businesses can participate in the event, ensuring safe trade connection between enterprises during the COVID-19 pandemic.

In addition, it will help Vietnamese exporters who want to expand beyond borders, the organiser said.

The fair is set to be an opportunity for businesses to seek partnerships and boost economic and trade relations between Zhejiang Province and Viet Nam.

In particular, the parties will together improve their international competitiveness and raise economic - trade cooperation to new heights.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, To Ngoc Son, Deputy Director of the Department of Asia-Africa Markets, under the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT) said that since the Vietnamese trade promotion office was established in Hangzhou, Zhejiang in 2018, trade cooperation between Viet Nam and Zhejiang province has been developing more and more rapidly.

The fair runs until December 5./.
