Nine Vietnamese returnees confirmed positive for Covid-19

VGP – Viet Nam confirmed nine new cases of Covid-19, bringing the patient tally to 1,474.

All of them are Vietnamese repatriated from Russia, Germany and Canada on "rescue" flights in December 2020.

Specifically, patient numbered 1466 is a 35-year-old man in Hung Yen city of Hung Yen Province.

Patient 1467 is a 38-year-old man in Thanh Ha District, Hai Duong Province.

Patient 1468 is a 51-year-old man in Thanh Chuong District, Nghe An Province.

They took flight VN5062 from Russia to the Cam Ranh airport in the south central coastal province of Khanh Hoa on December 25.

These patients are being treated at the Khanh Hoa Hospital for Tropical Diseases.

Patient 1469 is a 32-year-old man in Hai Chau District, Hai Phong City.

Patient 1470 is a 40-year-old woman in Ha Noi’s Ba Vi District.

Patient 1471 is a 37-year-old man in Ha Noi’s Chuong My District.

Patient 1472 is a 29-year-old man in Kim Thanh District, Hai Duong Province.

Patient 1473 is a 37-year-old man in Thanh Ha District, Hai Duong Province.

The aforesaid citizens were brought home from Germany on December 30 and are being treated at the General Hospital in Binh Duong Province.

Patient 1474 is a 50-year-old man in District 7, Ho Chi Minh City.

He flew from Canada to the Republic of Korea and then took flight VN405 to Ho Chi Minh City on December 29.

The patient is being treated at the General Hospital in Long An Province.

Of the country’s patient tally, 1,325 have recovered and exited hospitals and 35 others have been reported dead./.
