Urgent announcement
VGP – Passengers onboard flight VN7245 from Ha Noi to Ho Chi Minh City and flight QH242 from Ho Chi Minh City to Ha Noi on January 29 need to immediately contact the nearest medical facilities for advise and support.

This is part of the latest announcement by the Ha Noi Department of Health after authorities confirmed a COVID-19 patient who was a passenger on these flights.
The patient, a native of Vinh Tuy Ward, Ha Noi’s Hai Ba Trung District, contracted the virus from patient 1848.

He had travel record to many destinations in the city before and after taking the aforesaid flights.
The third wave of COVID-19 community transmission broke out in Ha Duong and Quang Ninh and spread to seven other cities and provinces, including Ha Noi.
