The group’s representative told a media conference in Hà Nội on Thursday that Việt Nam has huge potential for wind power development thanks to its 3,000-km coastline.

KV Venti plans to invest in Bình Thuận and Ninh Thuận Provinces, which have favorable conditions for the industry.

However, the group suggested Việt Nam pay due attention to the selection of technology, a decisive factor to economic efficiency.

An official of the Association of Foreign Invested Enterprises said recycled energy plays an important role amidst the global environmental pollution and the rapid exhaustion of fossil energies.

The Association will work with KV Venti to hold a seminar on Việt Nam’s clean energy development in Hà Nội next month.

To date, 43 countries have initiated programs on recycled energy development.
