Hai Duong lifts social distancing, lockdown from March 3

VGP – Leaders of Hai Duong Province have decided to end social distancing and lift lockdown on Chi Linh City and Cam Giang District from March 3.

The decision was made as the COVID-19 situation has been controlled well during the past 33 days, according to Secretary of the Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee Pham Xuan Thang.

Accordingly, from March 3, Kim Thanh and Cam Giang Districts, Hai Duong City, and Kinh Mon Town shall implement precautious measures enshrined in the Prime Minister’s Directive No. 15/CT-TTg dated March 27, 2020.

The Directive No. 15 specifies that a gathering or meeting with more than 20 people in one room or a gathering of more than 10 people outside office buildings, schools, and hospitals shall not be allowed

People should keep a safe distance of at least two meters.

All religious rites and activities with more than 20 participants in religious establishments as well as all cultural, sports and recreational activities in public places are suspended.

Operations of service providers, excluding those providing essential goods or services, are suspended.

Meanwhile, Binh Giang, Gia Loc, Nam Sach, Ninh Giang, Thanh Ha, Thanh Mien, Tu Ky Districts, and Chi Linh City shall implement precautious measures enshrined in the Prime Minister’s Directive No. 19/CT-TTg dated March 27, 2020.

Under the Directive No. 19, all religious rites and activities as well as all cultural, sports and recreational activities in public places are suspended.

People should keep a safe distance of at least one meter and non-essential services like bars, karaoke, massage parlors, discotheques, beauty salons are suspended.

District-level authorities were assigned to decide themselves the preventive measures to be taken in accordance with the real conditions in their districts.

Since January 27, 2021, Hai Duong confirmed 655 locally-transmitted cases, including 297 recoveries./.
