One New Imported COVID-19 Case Takes National Patient Tally To 2,591

VGP – Viet Nam confirmed one new imported case of COVID-19 on Sunday afternoon, raising the national caseload to 2,591.

The latest patient is a 31-year-old woman in Luc Ngan District of the northern province of Bac Giang.

She returned to Viet Nam on March 27 via the Ha Tien International Border Gate in the southern province of Kien Giang.

The national tally includes 2,308 recoveries and 35 fatalities, according to the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control led by Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam./.
