Three Cases Of COVID-19 Relapse Reported, More Than 45,000 People Vaccinated

VGP – The Bac Ninh Provincial Department of Health reported three cases of COVID-19 relapse on Sunday, affirming these cases pose no risk of community transmissions.

These patients, numbered 1565, 1702, and 1977, had been treated at the Bac Ninh Provincial General Hospital and the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases in Ha Noi’s Dong Anh District.

They had tested negative thrice before being discharged from the hospitals and continued self-isolation at home for another 14 days.

On March 25, they got their samples diagnosed and were re-hospitalized after authorities confirmed positive results.

The Department called on all residents to strictly follow the Ministry of Health’s 5K message: khau trang (facemask), khu khuan (disinfection), khoang cach (distance), khong tu tap (no gathering) and khai bao y te (health declaration).

Regarding the national inoculation program, the Ministry of Health said 862 people got the first doses of COVID-19 vaccine on March 28, raising the total people vaccinated against the virus to 45,140.

Specifically, there have been 18,026 people vaccinated in Hai Duong; 7,584 in Ha Noi; 1,194 in Hai Phong; 2,752 in Hung Yen; 2,869 in Bac Ninh; 3,185 in Bac Giang; 1,670 in Hoa Binh; 1,078 in Ha Giang; 881 in Dien Bien; 117 in Da Nang; 105 in Khanh Hoa; 1,513 in Gia Lai; 1,337 in Ho Chi Minh City; 87 in Ba Ria-Vung Tau; 1,854 in Binh Duong; 244 in Long An; 10 in Quang Ninh; and 286 in Dong Thap.

As of 6:05 am on Monday, Viet Nam documented 2,591 COVID-19 infection cases, including 2,308 recoveries and 35 fatalities./.
