Viet Nam confirms two new imported COVID-19 cases

VGP – Viet Nam confirmed two new imported cases of COVID-19 on Sunday afternoon, raising the national caseload to 2,631, including 2,383 recoveries.

The latest patients include one-year-old baby girl and the other is a 24-year-old woman.

They are natives of Thac Mo Ward, Phuoc Long Town of the southern province of Binh Phuoc.

Both of them returned to Viet Nam on April 2 via the Moc Bai International Border Gate in Tay Ninh Province.

As many as 27,478 people are being placed under medical surveillance and quarantine nationwide. Of these, 498 are kept at hospitals, 18,870 at concentrated quarantine sites, and 8,110 at places of residence./.
