Indian Man Test Positive For COVID-19

VGP – Viet Nam confirmed six new imported COVID-19 cases and 33 recoveries on Monday afternoon.

The latest infection cases are numbered from 2632-2637.

Specifically, patient 2632 is a 31-year-old woman in Chi Linh City of the northern province of Hai Duong.

She took flight VN88 from Angola to Quang Ninh-based Van Don Airport on March 31 and was sent to a quarantine site in Bac Giang Province upon arrival.

She is being treated at the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases in Ha Noi’s Dong Anh District.

Patient 2633 is a 23-year-old man in Dong Hung District of the northern province of Thai Binh.

Patient 2634 is a 30-year-old woman in Do Luong District of the central province of Nghe An.

Both of them flew from Japan to the central city of Da Nang on April 3.

They are being treated at the Da Nang Hospital for Lung Diseases.

Patient 2635 is a 34-year-old man in Yen Lac District of the northern province of Vinh Phuc.

Patient 2636 is a 32-year-old man in Tan Binh District, Ho Chi Minh City.

Both of them were repatriated from Japan on April 2 and sent to a quarantine site in Quang Nam Province.

They are being treated at the Quang Nam Central General Hospital.

Patient 2637 is a 40-year-old Indian man who flew from India to Ho Chi Minh City on April 1.

He has been treated at the city’s Cu Chi field hospital.

The same day, 33 patients were declared free of the virus, raising the total recoveries to 2,416 out of the national caseload of 2,637./.
