National Assembly Confirms Two New Deputy PMs, 12 Cabinet Members

Accordingly, Government Chief Inspector Le Minh Khai and Secretary of the Hai Phong Municipal Party Committee become new Deputy Prime Ministers.

Khai was born on December 10, 1964 in Vinh Phu Tay Commune, Phuoc Long District, Bac Lieu Province.

He was promoted to the new role from his previous position as Chief Inspector of the Government Inspectorate.

Meanwhile, Thanh was October 20, 1962 in Tan Lien Commune, Vinh Bao District, Hai Phong City.

He was promoted to the new role from his previous position as Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People's Council of Hai Phong City.

Newly-elected Cabinet Ministers are:

Phan Van Giang, Politburo member, Minister of National Defense.

Bui Thanh Son, member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Foreign Affairs.

Pham Thi Thanh Tra, member of the Party Central Committee, Vice Chairwoman of the Party Central Committee’s Organization Commission, Minister of Home Affairs.

Ho Duc Phoc, member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Finance.

Tran Van Son, member of the Party Central Committee, Minister-Chairman of the Government Office.

Le Minh Hoan, member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development.

Nguyen Hong Dien, member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Trade and Industry.

Nguyen Kim Son, member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Education and Training.

Nguyen Van Hung, member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Hau A Lenh, member of the Party Central Committee, Minister-Chairman of the Committee for Ethnic Minority Affairs.

Nguyen Thanh Nghi, member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Construction.
