Health ministry confirms 149 new COVID-19 cases

The number of daily new COVID-19 cases from June 10 to 00:21 pm on June 28

The latest patients include three Vietnamese returnees who entered the country via the Ha Tien international border gate in the southern province of Kien Giang.

All the others are domestic infections in Ho Chi Minh City (94), Binh Duong (32), Bac Giang (12), Bac Ninh (4), Nghe An (2), Hoa Binh (1), and Da Nang (1), said the ministry, adding that 137 of them were detected in quarantine sites or lockdown areas.

As many as 6,319 patients have recovered and exited hospitals while the death toll stood at 76./.
