Viet Nam reports 277 new COVID-19 cases, 245 recoveries

VGP – Viet Nam confirmed 277 new COVID-19 cases over the last 12 hours, raising the national patient tally to 14,413.

The number of daily new COVID-19 cases from June 10-29

The latest patients include 11 Vietnamese returnees, with five repatriated from Russia on June 21 and six entering Viet Nam via international border gates in the southern provinces of Kien Giang and An Giang.

All the others are domestic infection cases in Ho Chi Minh City (97), Binh Duong (24), Tien Giang (22), Dong Thap (21), Quang Ngai (21), Bac Giang (23), Hung Yen (15), Nghe An (12), Long An (4), Dong Nai (4), Bac Ninh (5), Phu Yen (2), Hai Phong (2), Binh Thuan (1), Dong Thap (1), Lang Son (2), Ha Tinh (9), and Ba Ria-Vung Tau (1).

The ministry also announced 245 patients were declared free of COVID-19, bringing the total number of recoveries to 6,764; and two new fatalities, taking the death toll to 78./.
