Viet Nam to offer Cuba 12,000 tons of rice

The Government chief made the announcement at a reception for Cuban Ambassador to Viet Nam Orlando Nicolás Hernández Guillén on Thursday.

This is the gift of the Party, State and people of Viet Nam for the Party, State and people of Cuba with a hope to ease difficulties facing Cuban people amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Pham said.

The same day, Ha Noi Municipal Party Committee also announced that the city will gift 2,000 tons of rice to Cuba’s capital city of Havana.

The Cuban diplomat expressed sincere thanks to Viet Nam for the gifts which manifest the special traditional friendship between the two countries./.
