Three Coronavirus-hit provinces to get over 4,000 tons rice from national reserve

VGP – Deputy Prime Minister Le Van Thanh has tasked the Ministry of Finance to distribute more than 4,117 tons of rice from the national reserve to support people affected by the COVID-19 pandemic in three southern provinces.

Specifically, Binh Phuoc, Bac Lieu and Soc Trang, currently placed under social distancing to prevent spread of COVID-19, will receive 559.74 tons, 636.975 tons, and 2,931.085 tons, respectively.

As of 7:00 pm on August 15, the number of COVID-19 infection cases in Binh Phuoc, Bac Lieu and Soc Trang was 309, 130 and 552, according to the Ministry of Health./.
