Viet Nam’s COVID-19 patient tally crosses 400,000

VGP – The Ministry of Health confirmed 17,428 new COVID-19 cases on Friday, raising the national patient tally to 410,366.

The latest patients consist of 19 imported cases and 17,409 domestic infections in 42 cities and provinces. Of the domestic cases, 6,627 were detected in the community.

The same day, the ministry reported 10,126 new recoveries, bringing the total recovered cases to 198,614.

It also announced 386 fatalities, taking the death toll to 10,053.

The number of vaccine doses administered reached 18,843,004, with 2,235,013 people fully vaccinated./.
