Localities urged to ensure smooth circulation of goods

VGP – Deputy Prime Minister Le Van Thanh on Monday urged localities to ensure smooth circulation of goods during social distancing period.

Deputy PM Le asked localities to strictly follow Prime Minister’s directions which require local authorities not to issue additional regulations hindering good circulation.

Provincial/municipal People’s Committees need to coordinate with relevant ministries and agencies to help enterprises overcome difficulties and design safe production plans, Le said.

He also asked localities to give priority to vaccinating and testing workers in order to ensure production safety.

On Thursday, the Government issued Resolution No. 105 on support for enterprises, co-operatives and household businesses in the face of COVID-19 pandemic.

Under the resolution, the Government ordered drastic efforts in the against the pandemic and at the same time creating favorable conditions for enterprises, cooperatives and business households to recover, maintain and develop production and business.

The Government tasked the Ministry of Transport to provide guidelines for localities to uniformly implement the "green channel" of road and waterway transport nationwide, inter-provincially and inter-regionally to transport goods smoothly, quickly and conveniently.

No additional conditions or permits are required, to ensure circulation of goods, especially essential goods, both for daily life and production, according to the resolution./.
