Additional 400,000 COVID-19 vaccine doses donated by Japan arrive in Viet Nam
VGP – Around 400,000 doses of Astra Zeneca vaccine donated by the Japanese Government and people landed at Ho Chi Minh City-based Tan Son Nhat Airport on September 25.

The Japanese Government has presented around 3.58 million vaccine doses for Viet Nam over the last four months.
According to the Ministry of Health, Viet Nam has received nearly 53 million doses so far through the COVAX facility, foreign government aid, and contract, 50.2 million of which were distributed to localities.
As of late September 24, Viet Nam administered 36,793,910 COVID-19 vaccine doses, with 7,259,412 people having been fully vaccinated.
Viet Nam confirmed 736,972 COVID-19 infection cases, including 505,859 recoveries and 18,220 deaths.
