Cabinet members assigned to prepare reports to NA meeting

VGP - PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng has asked 14 ministers, the Governor of the State Bank of Việt Nam and the Chief Inspector of the Government Inspectorate to draft some reports and bills which will be presented at the 6th session of the 12th National Assembly which will begin on October 20.

Well preparing for the 6th session of the 12th National Assembly

The Government’s reports focus on the implementation of socio-economic development plans for 2009 and 2010; the realization of the State budget plan 2009 and estimates for 2010; the allocation of central and local budgets in 2010; thrift practice and anti-prodigality in 2009; the enforcement of laws and policies on using and managing State capital and properties; diplomatic work in 2009; security situation and criminal prevention in 2009; and anti-corruption.

The Government also plans to present a statement on intentions to invest in the Lai Châu Hydroelectric Plant and some reports on such major projects as the Sơn La Hydroelectric Plant, Dung Quất Oil Refinery, Hồ Chí Minh Highway, and 5-million-hectare afforestation.

Three bills which will be introduced at the sitting of the legislative body are on the disabled people, on the State Bank of Việt Nam (revised), and on credit organizations (revised).
