Nhơn Trạch 1 power plant inaugrated

VGP - The Nhơn Trạch 1 gas-fueled power plant with the capacity of 462.8 MW in the southern province of Đồng Nai was officially put into operation today.

Invested with VND 6.5 trillion, the plant in Nhơn Trạch District will have the annual output of 2.2-2.5 billion kWh.

It mainly uses natural gas from Cửu Long and Nam Côn Sơn basins. The standby fuel is diesel oil.

The plant is located in the key economic zone of Hồ Chí Minh City, Bình Dương, Đồng Nai and Bà Rịa -Vũng Tàu.

Its investor is PetroVietnam Power Corporation (PV Power).
