Gov’t chief ratifies foreign-funded projects

VGP – PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng recently gave nods to some projects sponsored by the World Bank (WB), the Governments of the Republic of Korea (RoK), Denmark and Finland.

The PM just ratified the project “Building the Statistics Development Strategy for Việt Nam” receiving a non-refundable aid of US $311,000 from the WB. 

The Government chief approved a non-refundable project worth of US $400,000 from the RoK to upgrade urban areas in the Mekong Delta.

The PM also okayed the agreement of a project which is financed by the Danish Government and targets to support the Central Institute for Economic Management (CIEM) to strengthen its research and development capacity and policy analysis in the period of 2010-2011.

Another US $7.2-million healthcare project funded by the Government of Finland was also approved.
