PM receives Cambodia’s Permanent Deputy PM

VGP – The Government of Việt Nam wants to cooperate with Cambodia at all echelons and in all fields, said PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng, suggesting closer coordination between the two countries on international and regional forums.

The Vietnamese PM made the statement in his reception given to Cambodian Permanent Deputy PM Men Sam On who is also the chairperson of the Cambodia-Việt Nam Friendship Association.

PM Dũng highly evaluated the role played by the Việt Nam-Cambodia and Cambodia-Việt Nam Friendship Associations in promoting the bilateral cooperation of the two countries.

He reiterated Việt Nam’s desire to bring new depth and focus to the relationship with the neighbor country.

Cambodia’s Deputy PM Men Sam On expressed her gratitude to Việt Nam for supporting Cambodian people’s struggle for national salvation in the past and socio-economic development at present.

She expected to receive Việt Nam’s experience of economic management, human resource nurturing, and national construction.

On the occasion, State President Nguyễn Minh Triết decided to award Deputy PM Men Sam On with the Friendship Medal to acknowledge her contributions to the promote friendship between Việt Nam and Cambodia.

PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng conferred the medal on the guest today.
