The two sides reached the agreement on November 12 in Hà Nội at the 7th session of the Joint Standing Committee for Việt Nam and Wallonie-Brussels chaired by the Vietnamese Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyễn Thế Phương and General Director of the Wallonie-Brussels International Cooperation Agency Philippe Suinen.

At the session, the Wallonie-Brussels side pledged to offer over US $2 million to fund more than 30 cooperation programs in the 2010-2012 period.

Besides, over 2 million will be supplemented to a technical and vocational training program.

The two sides acknowledged that most of the cooperation projects in the period of 2007-2009 were fruitful and have met the pre-set targets.
