According
to the NA Standing Committee, PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng receives some 36 questions,
mainly on the efficiency of stimulus packages, operation and performance of the
State-owned groups, credit assistance policies, education, transport, efficiency
of the national goal programs, poverty reduction, administrative reform, and
the results of the implementation of policies on agriculture, peasantry and
rural development.
Poverty reduction
Deputy
Đỗ Văn Lực (from Đồng Tháp) who praised for the Government’s stimulus packages,
said that he would ask the PM to clarify the supposedly access of 20% of the
domestic businesses to the Government’s credit preferences.
“I
would ask the Government to value the efficiency of the National Goal Programs,
including the program on expanding investment for 62 poor districts,” said Ms. Trịnh
Thị Nga (Phú Yên).
She
noted that during the past years, the Government has carried out a series of
programs to improve infrastructure and living standards in poor districts and
remote areas, however, poverty reduction has not met expectation.
For
the issues, Mr. Huỳnh Nghĩa (Đà Nẵng) voiced his concern over slow capital
disbursement for poor districts.
Agriculture, peasantry and rural development
Ms. Lê Thị Dung An (An Giang) confided she
is wondering why the Government’s program on building rice reserves for farmers
is so slowly deployed.
“I
would ask about the Government chief’s role in speeding up growth and
development in key economic zones,” said Deputy Lê Như Tiến from Quảng Trị.
