VN, Italy urged to promote economic cooperation
VGP – Receiving Mr. Roberto Colannino, Chairman of Piaggio (Italy) on Friday in Hà Nội, State President Nguyễn Minh Triết reiterated that the State of Việt Nam always encourages and assists foreign enterprises to do business and investment here.

The guest, who is also
President of the Italian Air Company Alitalia, stated that the airline wants to
shake hands with Vietnam Airlines to open direct air routes between the two
countries.
Praising investment
projects of Piaggio, State President Triết stressed that Việt Nam always wants
foreign investors to succeed here, so as to promote Việt
He stated that, on the
basis of their political relations, the two countries should enhance economic,
trade, investment cooperation and cultural exchange.
The host leader hoped that
the cooperation between Alitalia and Vietnam Airlines will open a new channel
for closer bilateral ties.
