List of dangerous goods announced
VGP - The Government has issued Decree No. 34/2024/NĐ-CP on dangerous goods and transportation of dangerous goods by land motor vehicles and inland waterways.
Explosive substances and explosive articles are defined as dangerous goods
The dangerous goods subject to this Decree are classified into the following nine types according to their chemical and physical properties:
Type 1: Explosive substances and explosive articles
1.1 Substances and articles with wide explosion hazard
1.2 Substances and articles that have a splash hazard but do not explode widely
1.3 Substances and articles that present a fire hazard and a small explosion or splash hazard or both, but not widespread explosion
1.4 Substances and articles of negligible hazard
1.5 Substances are not sensitive but have a wide explosion hazard
1.6 Articles are not sensitive and do not explode widely
Type 2: Gases
2.1 Flammable gases
2.2 Non-flammable gases
2.3 Toxic gases
Type 3: Flammable liquids and liquid explosive substances
Type 4:
4.1 Flammable solids, self-reactive substances, etc.
4.2 Substances liable to spontaneous combustion
4.3 Substances which in contact with water emit flammable gases
Type 5.
5.1 Oxidizing substances
5.2 Organic peroxides
Type 6.
6.1 Toxic substances
6.2 Infectious substances
Type 7: Radioactive material
Type 8: Corrosive substances
Type 9: Miscellaneous dangerous substances and articles.
Packaging and containers containing dangerous goods shall be also treated as dangerous goods, in case their inside and outside are not cleaned after the contents are removed./.
