A Vietnamese 7,000-ton freighter launched

VNGOP – The Vietnam Coal and Mineral Industry Group launched the 7,000-ton freighter Sun Bright on May 06 at the Cái Lân Industrial Park, Hạ Long City, Quảng Ninh Province.

Sun Bright was built by the Shipbuilding Mechanics Company TKV under a VND150-billion contract with the Ngọc Anh Shipping Joint-stock Company. The ship was designed by the Shipbuilding Technology, Designing and Consulting Company, under the supervision of the Vietnam Register Office.

At the launching ceremony, TKV signed a new contract to build five freighters of 7,000 tons each, with a total value of VND 1,000 billion, for the Waterway Transport Joint-stock Company.
