Bình Dương remains an attractive destination for FDI projects thanks to its industrial infrastructure and progresses in administrative reforms

To date, the province has licensed 1,842 FDI projects worth of US $11.4 billion. Over the past three months, many foreign business delegations have come there to seek investment opportunities, including a group of senior officials and leading enterprises from South Africa.
In the same period, 28 FDI projects have been added with US $108.3 million.

However, the amount of new FDI capital poured into Bình Dương in the first quarter is only equivalent to 46% of the same period last year and a new project averages US $9.8 million.

To lure US $1 billion FDI this year, the provincial People’s Committee has prioritized the implementation of investment stimulus plans.

The province has urged industrial zones to accelerate building technical infrastructure to early welcome investors; boost administrative reforms, especially procedures relating to land transfer and rent, construction, customs, taxation and preferential loans.

Besides strengthening investment promotion, Bình Dương also ensures budget for speeding up major projects on transports, water supply and drainage, electricity and telecommunications.

The provincial People’s Committee pledged to keep regular contacts to businesses to help them settle any arising problems.
