However, the COVID-19 outbreaks have produced negative impacts on the economy, with the index of industrial production in the reviewed period decreasing by 10.5% against the same period last year.
The consumer price index dipped 1.54% in April and 4.9% in the first four months, making it the highest rate over the past five years.
Agricultural production continued facing critical difficulties caused by drought, saltwater intrusion, and the COVID-19 outbreaks as well.
The number of newly-established businesses also fell by 13.2% and 17.9% in terms of number of businesses and registered capital volume.
The only positive signal is trade exchange as exports rose by 4.7% and imports climbed up 2.1 %, according to official statistics.
Against the backdrop, the Government will explore every measure to realize the dual goal of controlling the COVID-19 and fostering growth.
